From One Human Minute:
“Every night, electrons, forced to lick the screens of our television sets with frenzied speed, show us the world chopped up and crammed into the Latest News” – Stanislaw Lem, One Human Minute

For work, I’ve got a data set that might be applicable – there’s ~100 data points, which are grouped into 3 major sets. At the moment, we show the 3 sets on separate bar charts, but this technique might let us show them all on one page. The radial nature of the layout gives more room at the circumference to show labels for the various bars.
